How long is the gas tube on the 18" stainless barrels? Would the gas block be underneath the cqb rails/handguards or out in front?

I want to say its a mid length gas tube just like on thier 16 inch barrels. On the cqb rail MRP, only the gas block protrudes. That rail was designed for a mid length system.

The block on the 18 MRP starts 9.75 inches from the end of the barrel (from the receiver).

the 18" 556 MRP barrels are midlength gas system so it will stick out if you have the CQB MRP system. If you have the Rifle legth MRP, the gas block will be under the handguard.
