So I went out today and did my second round of load development. The last time I was out, I found the load I am using grouped tightest with 44.5 gr. of IMR 4064. I went out today to refine around that load, +/- .2 grains. The rifle is a Remy 700 SPS Tac in .308 with a bedded B&C stock and USO ST-10. I'm just up to about 100 rounds through this barrel. Shooting 168 SMK HPBTs with Winchester brass and CCI BR2 primers. I'm real happy with the 44.8 gr. load. I'm going to try some Varget next and see if I can tighten things up a little bit more.
