Load for 18" OBR

[Shoots 700's]

I just ordered a Larue OBR 18" .308 and was wondering what loads others are using.

I shoot a 175 grain Match King in my bolt gun with 42.9 g of Varget. And out of my M1A I shoot 168 grain Nosler CC with 41.5g H4895.

Probably shoot it out to 850 yards or so. Any suggestions?

I had great results with the two loads noted below:

43.3 varget
Cci 200
Lupua brass
175 smk
2.800" COL
2580 fps
ES 25 fps


My favorite:
45.5 cfe223
Cci 200
Lupua brass
175 smk
2.800" COL
2630 fps
ES 12 fps!

My load for my 18" OBR is:

LC LR brass
44.4 Varget
175 SMK
FED 210M
~2535 fps

I used this load to do a 4.1" group at 805 yds a couple weeks ago.
