I'm trying to find a load for a match 308win short throat with 1/10 twist 8 groove. Does a short throat require using lite bullets like the 155 or 168? I havn't had much luck so far with the 175smk..

Not really, I had a short throat 308 that allowed me to use 175 VLDs jammed in the lands .010" and COL was only 2.796". That turned out to be one of the most accurate loads in that rifle.
