To begin with I am new to reloading for precision rifle. I am shooting a RPR 6.5 Creedmore with a Athlon Ares ETR. First I was shooting Sig brass with 40gr H4350 and 147 gr eldm’s. It was consistently .3 MOA in that rifle. I purchased new Starline brass for my first match about a month and a half ago, and loaded it the same. It shot just as good if not better on the first firing. Now I am on the second firing and the groups opened up to about .7 - 1 MOA. I adjusted seating depth out assuming that the lands have “eroded”, which just opens the groups up more. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on where to go from here, I have my second match in 9 days. (I am a procrastinator of the worst type). Thank you in advance.

You didn’t mention whether you are full length sizing or neck sizing after first firing. But you changed the major component in the load. You need to redo your load development for the brass you will be using. I don’t shoot 6.5CM so I’m not familiar with how different the various brass brands are.

You also may not be on a true accuracy node. That’s one where slight changes in charge weight does not produce a change in POI. .

I am FL sizing with a hornady match die. I will adjust the powder charge, and see where that leads me.
