Local source for Tempilaq?

I guess I'm going to try the annealing process, and I'm having a tough time finding Tempilaq locally.
Is there any other similar product that works in the same manner that is easier to get your hands on?
Is there any large chain store that any one has found that carries something like this?
I've called some of the local hardware stores - and to be honest - I don't even think they understood what I needed when I told them what I was looking for (I explained it as temperature indicating liquid).

Welding supply shop....good call....Thank you. Not sure why I never thought of that. I'm sure I'll find it there. If not - on to the autoparts stores.

I know guys who prefer the stick. I've had very poor results with it. Maybe my stick had got old and dried out, I dunno.

I always thought it best to go with the 'paint on' bottle, but this article states that they prefer the stick form.

So maybe I need a course on anealing brass....LOL....I painted a strip of the Tempilaq on the inside of some .308 cases - then fired up the handheld torch on a lower setting and heated up the neck.
The case heated up so hot that I couldn't hold it - but the tempilaq remained yellow?
The instrucitons on the reloading post on here says the tempilaq will change color - and you should be able to hold the case?
