here is the deal.
i hate it when some one new comes on and asks a question, gets more stupid replys than info from guys with thousands of post, then some one comes along and says "lol".
give the new guys a break, it may get old when the same questions come up, but i dont see the need to be jerks.
i also dont see the need for others with low post counts to say "lol" to chap their lips on these guys butts.
and no i am not agitated thanks for asking.

that is just one use of lol that bugs me.

FWIW if a guy says that he hates "lol" in front of a group of guys... hes gonna hear a bunch of "lols" is all. Im just breaking balls like im required to do with my "Y" chromosome

I believe you are elliptically referring to the responses in the real sniper thread, (none of which were from me BTW). While I personally do not use the cretinous "LOL", I also refrain from ripping newbs for reasons of proportion. I am not an an expert nor am I particularly adept in web jargon, or eye poking for grins and chuckles.

I do like to laugh and try to generate them whenever possible. Also, I think the admonition of many of the saltier hide members holds here; a thick skin is essential!

i think it is a bunch of crap though, when some one cant get a simple question answered. i am willing to bet that there is only so many questions that can be asked. and the "did you do the search" response is a good one except you have to read through all the stupid responses that are left by idiots and their "lol" butt kissers.
maybe i am a little agitated.

I wrote LOL because it sounded like the dude just got off of playing Modern Warfare 2 and wrote the question.

Plus he could have spent two seconds on google and found the answer out himself, but he wanted "real snipers" to answer it.

Sure there might be some but kissers that wrote it, but in reality, why would you kiss butt on the internet?
