So I have fuzion on the way and was wondering if anyone knows what the bolt handle threads are? Specifically, I love the 419 bolt handle and was hoping it would fit.

Join contestCaliper- yesDo you have a caliper and standard thread gauges?
Yep. I just shot them an email. I'll see what they say. ThanksWith that said 5/16-24 is pretty much the standard and I don't see why they would reinvent the wheel.
You could most likely just give them a call and get it sorted pretty quick.
Ah. Well, not Remington then. I asked them so ill see what they say. Maybe I can get a custom one.I pulled mine off and found a threaded stud of 1/4-28

Thats a good idea. I was looking at what they had on their site and thinking I could modify a larger knob to be similar chucked in a drill with a file. A little cerakote and good to go. Ideally they can maybe make me one.If you are dead set on using the 419 bolt knob and don't have luck going the custom route you should be able to source a 1/4-28 to 5/16-24 male to male thread adapter.
Can you take a picture? The stud is on the bolt handle not the knob right?I pulled mine off and found a threaded stud of 1/4-28
I can, it looked to me like the bold body is threaded female and the stud was a long set screw, that was 1/4-28. The bolt knob was then also female threaded 1/4-28.Can you take a picture? The stud is on the bolt handle not the knob right?
I think he was looking into which section was male vs female.Either it's 1/4-28 or it isn't what is it really?
Not rocket science measuring a thread pitch even a Democrat could figure out such a simple process.
Yep. Thanks. I spoke with 419 and with lone peak. Basically the easiest option was to order a large tactical and modify. So, thats what I'll do! Thanks for your helpI think he was looking into which section was male vs female.
Sure. I'm going to basically just add a finger groove to their large tactical knob similar to the area 419 knob. So all should line up well since its going to be based off of one of their knob options.Keep in mind you'll probaly need an extension of some type. Most of the bolt bodies have the leg or arm that comes to the knob. On the Lone Peak the threads are very close to the bolt body requiring an extension to clear the scope etc if that makes sense.
