Per MDT, long action magazines come in 3 different lengths: 3.715", 3.775" an 3.850". Accurate Mag offers the different lengths in AI style magazines. Per the MDT site, the Remington 700 Tactical Chassis Rifle (Remington 700 MDT TC21 300 24 MB (84475) the magazine well is 3.775. However, their TAC 21 chassis use 3.715 magazines. So Remington TAC 21 chassis uses a different length magazine.
Trying to determine if AI magazine is the correct length to fit the Remington 700 MDT TC21 300 24 MB (84475). Asked question of Euro Optic and was informed the AI magazine was 3.650" internally. Not sure how that relates to 3.775 length. Have asked Remington and Accurate Mag and waiting for answer.
Hopefully, the knowledgeable folks here can provide some insight. Haven't received the gun yet so I can't measure the magazine.
