I have a private range that I can shoot to little more than 600 yards. By private I mean farm fields . I'm going to have a couple small get togethers this year, and was wondering what are some shooting games we could do. The range will be from 100-600 with some rimfire shoots in there. I'm trying to make it where each round we can place a small wager. More for fun but why not make some gas money? I read about sniper golf. What are some others?

You can play baseball with 2 people. Make a target that has a HR for the center ring, and working your way out is triple, double, single, ball. Outside the target (should be relatively small) is an out. Each player's shot session goes til they get 3 outs, then the next player goes for their target. I've played bracketed tournaments of 6 inning games, with like 10 people and we all had a blast.

Last year while camping with some friends I was introduced to HORSE as a shooting game and it was pretty fun. We used .22's and everyone sat in folding camping chairs. You could shoot anyway out of the chair but had to remain sitting. We had six or seven targets ranging from pop cans to sticks of varying sizes and some were set as close as 10 yds to about 40 yds for the first round. The first person calls his shot and shoots. If he makes the shot everyone has to make the same shot or get a letter. If he misses it goes on to the next person to call their shot. After everyone has had a chance to call their shot all the chairs were moved back 10 yards and the second round started. Keep going through rounds and moving further from the targets each time until someone wins.

We don't have a name for this game, but here it is anyways. You blindfold the shooter and then put clay targets in various spots and distances. After that is done, the shooter is unblindfolded and a circle is drawn around him/her in the dirt and the object is for the shooter to find and break all targets without leaving the circle in the fastest time possible.
