We want to set up a 100-300 yd steel range purely for .22lr.
Have hit Hardox 400 plates at 200 yd it can be difficult to hear the ring in the wind let alone see the plate move.
What would you recommend that will swing yet survive the hits and ring?

Cheers

I use almost exclusively 3/16 crs plate for the longer distance targets, 150yds and out. Loud ring, movement and so far no apparent damage.

If you can find some scrap diamond plate or similar it holds up pretty well. Yeah it bends over time. But if it's free its great

Other than that 3/16
