The article was pretty entertaining though especially the bits about having to work beyond the grueling 40 hour work week and only having a couple of days notice before travel. ???

Anything less than 84 hours a week to me seems like I'm coasting and I don't have any idea how many times I've got a phone call letting me know I will be traveling to Africa, South Korea, Brazil or wherever asap.

No shit, right? A teleconference to highlight the importance would make sense, but hey, you can't party it the fuck up on the taxpayer dime in Paris that way. Olympia is a boring ass town, but he wanted the job, oh how they all wanna SERVE. So sick of hearing that.

Need to do away with all this taxpayer security. WA governor ain't THAT goddamn important. I promise he could walk down any street in Tacoma or Seattle and NOBODY would recognize him. Not without a cadre of armed security anyway.
