Looking at a new scope

I am looking for a new scope for an 18" AR I have. I have a Trijicon Credo HX 1-6 on a 16" model but am looking for a little more magnification for the 18"

I was looking at the Leupold MARK 3HD 4-12x40 w the TMR reticle and the Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 w the MOAR reticle

The 10 power would be plenty for my use and I like the MOAR reticle.

Is that model Nightforce a better quality scope than the Leupold MARK 3HD? What about against the VX 5HD Leupold?
