Looking at ordering an Atlas BT10-LW17. I have a McMillan A5. what attachment rail do I need to get? And, would it be wise to get the BT1517 Rail Fastener Kit?

If the spot where you would mount the rail is curved, then you can use the BT15. If the spot is flat you will need the BT17. And yes, get the BT1517 hardware.
