Looking at Valley Operational Wear, opinions?

I am looking to replace my issue vest (Point Blank Interceptor OTV) and am looking at their options. Does anyone have any opinions on this vest? I want a bit more than just a plate carrier but isn't a bulky pain.

They make great stuff. The owner is a good friend of mine. Not a huge sized company but their products are top notch. My friend is a former marine and retired cop. He knows body armor. He has worked for Pointblack and Safariland. I would work for or serve with him anywhere.
