Hey guys. I am looking for some interesting bullets to load for my 6.5" 629 classic. I've never reloaded 44 mag but given I don't shoot it a ton I thought it would be nice to pickup some random style bullets to try and load up some small quantities. I actually know very little about 44 mag in terms of popular grain weight and what people use these days. I don't have any real goals other than having fun at the range but it might be nice to have one nice SD or hunting load as well.

Thinking fmj though, no cast. I have plenty of cast factory ammo. I don't know where to start with this caliber so tell me what you're using! Thanks!

Len5E1 the 44 Remington Magnum has been around since 1955, one of most popular bullet weights in the .429 caliber has been 180 gr JHP. Also the 210 and the 240 grainers. These bullets weights are all made by Sierra, Remington, Nosler,Hornady. All the major ammunition companies produce the ammunition, reloading components are available depending on where you live, or on line.
