Hello all,

I am looking for a 338 RUM Sendero. Just seeing if anyone has one they want to sell or if anyone has a lead on one for sale.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: Looking for a 338 RUM

By the time you find a Senedaro and get it rebuilt so it will shoot it will cost you as much as a build. The 700 barrels are a 400 round proposition and too short as well.
Get a Savage right bolt, left port single shot match action. Change the bolt head and firing pin to RUM. Get an FT/R stock. Get a 3 groove 34" nitried bbl (3000 round life). Yes it will ONLY be a single shot and you can't eject a loaded round w/o hitting the bolt release BUT it will be more accurate, much faster and not wear out before you develop a load.
There is no commercial rifle that really can get the full potential out of the big 338s as the barrels are too short, as in a 300 gr Berger @ 3000+ fps with this scope. http://www.valdada.com/product/b6c36d63-8340-4206-9fba-8c7cba2090e1.aspx
Good shooting !
