So you know how you find something on the internet and then can never find it again. Well I cave and ask for your help. A couple months ago i saw and even watch a video on an unique handguard.
it had a barrel nut that had two grooves on it. Leaving a rib between the grooves. The handguard mounted with set screws going in at 45 degree angles 3 sets of 2 i believe. With one set screw facing forward and one backwards. Thus when the screws were tightened they would pinch the rib. Set screws are supposed to be flush to slightly below flush when installed properly.
anyone have any idea what i saw.

All the Aero Precision's mount with 8 counter sunk screws, same as Seekins. and many others. This one has opposing set screws. Might only have 4, 2 on each side. Starting to think it was a dream. swear the name started with a "M".
Barrel nut was similar to the SLR nut but the grooves are closer together making the rib in the middle narrower.
