Have you tried Carhartt's Shoreline Jacket. Retails at 120, I've used it working horses quite a bit and really like it. Tough enough for ranch work and it's pretty breathable, all things considered. Just my two cents.

I've been considering this but unable to get my hands on some. wanting to buy the jacket and bottoms. is the fit true to size or smaller/bigger?

A bit on the large size, pretty much all their stuff does.. I’m a large, but in Carhartt coats and shirts I’m usually medium

Yep, they run a hair big. I normally wear large, my shoreline is a medium. Great jacket.
