Need to get a shot timer for practicing drills but also want to get Rate of Fire (ROF) info for my machine guns. I was excited when Kestrel released their shot timer as I love my Kestrel Ballistic units but after calling I was told that their timers will not give ROF. ROF is important for me as I like to know with my vairous autos what effect various changes have on the systems and ROF is the best clue. Just messing with an M16 anything from suppressors, ammo, buffers or buffer springs can alter this measurement. Any hints on a solid unit to get this data would be appreciated.
