I am taking one of my hunting rifles on a quality goat hunt in BC and she's overdue for some finish work. It's a Dakota 97 in 340 Wea (also have a 257 barrel) with a fiberglass stock, Murphy base, Seekins rings and Leupold 4.5-14. Currently the stock is olive with black web and the metal is black Ceracoat. I am partial to A-TACS as far as patterns go - I'm fine with dipping. It sees use in sage country as well as timber in the mountains. I think metal in the gray range might be good.

If anyone cares to chime in, I would really appreciate more expert and experienced opinions than my own. Thanks!
