Range Report Looking for good decently priced sub-sonic .308

Re: Looking for good decently priced sub-sonic .308

Load your own man. NOTHING to it and you'll save a ton of $$$ in the long run. I help buddies out all the time that do not have the equipment to load. Usually I have the dies. They buy the brass, primers, powder and bullets. They come over and learn something new and walk away with loaded ammo. Ask around if you don't load. Someone will help you out. Trail Boss powder is the shit.

I have loaded many thousands of rds of Sub ammo. I used the 180 gr. Hornady projo. I used about 9.1 gr of VV N-310 also make sure you use a good crimp. I prefer the Lee Factory crimp die. R/ Mike

10.2 gr Trailboss with either a 180gr Hornady RN or 175 SMK (most accurate) work great on my 10 FCP.

I get 1/2" groups with the SMKs and about 1" with the Hornadys.
FYI, the Hornadys have a lot more drop.
