Looking for input.

I should be receiving my stamp and rifle any day now. I'm new to the AR platform rifle, and looking for some guidence on some of the needs for owning one.

I bought a Noveske Leonidas 12.5" 7.62.(yes I have ear muffs)
I have 1000 rounds of M118LR and 200 rounds of FGMM.
I also have (11) twenty round magazines.
Where should I go from here?

Range.

Assuming you have everything else to get the rifle running, trigger time is very important.

What kind of optics? ACOG? EOTech?

I am not criticizing just trying to understand and maybe learn something new. Why 12.5" barrel and match grade ammo? Can you get good distance and accuracy with so short of a barrel? Otherwise I would think with so short a barrel that you would be more looking at short range stuff and could go with cheaper ammo.
