Looking for pics/thoughts - M24/M40 in a McMillan HTG

Looking for pics and thoughts of this combo, too thick of a barrel for the narrower fore end of an HTG?

Not at all. But you should look at the Manners T model. Has a higher comb so easier to get behind the scope.

No the top pic is my old .243 I sold a while back and the bottom one is my old practice .308. It's been in that HTG stock for about 14 years. If I was looking for that style now I would be would be a Manners T. I actually have a Manners T3 on order to drop that rifle into so that all my rifles will be in T3s so they all feel the same for practice. That is the last one in a non Manners stock.
