In the 450 Bushmaster I like the 16 twist of the Faxon upper or barrel if you assemble your own, instead of the 22 or 24 twist, of other manufacturers. If you reload...you can shoot cheap bulk 45 ACP pistol bullets and resize any .458 bullet to .452 in cheap lee sizing die...and shoot 185 gr to heavy resized 502gr bullets with the benefit of the 458 Socoms heavy bullet feature without the cost of higher priced brass and bullets for plinking and slightly higher velocities, with all weights. It's fairly light but the 450 bushmaster can kick, so add the limbsaver recoil pad that just bolts on ...You'll like that feature for the heavy 500 gr bullets in sub or super. If you hand load it's fairly cheap to shoot, and you can have over 3000 ft/lbs of muzzle energy in an AR 15 16" barrel. Just ran over 500 rds through mine...as I ordered 1000 pcs of brass. Lots of fun just blasting targets ...get the mags for the bushmaster they work great. It's twice the fun if ya reload, and chew up a stump with 502 gr bullets, suppers and subs. One of my favorite AR calibers.
