We have a busy gun shop shop in Yuma, Arizona and are adding another school trained gunsmith to work as a repairman/gunsmith. Pay and relocation expenses are negotiable but please understand this is an entry level gunsmithing job. We do have a commission plan and benefits...also, you begin to accumulate vacation and sick days beginning your first day on the job.

The shop has been open since 1956 (we also have a Truck Mates store) so for guys into older guns we have them by the bushel. For guys into MSR's we have an SOT and a rapidly expanding AR business (building and accessorizing.) We recently purchased a new mill, rifle sized ultrasonic and have a solid business base to build on. We don't Cerakote _yet_ but have a nice hot bluing and rust bluing set up.

We also believe in continuing education. Below is our website.

CCW Classes - Yuma | Certified Concealed Weapons Class in Yuma, Arizona

What we aren't looking for:

Habitual smokers. (We come to work for working; not smoking)

Junkies/drunks

If you like Disco please keep that to yourself.

If you graduated gunsmithing school over ten years ago and have not worked as a gunsmith. (Not a deal killer but not ideal)

If you are only a military trained Armorer.

If you list "sniper" as an MOS on your resume.

What we are looking for, or would prefer:

Recent graduate of a gunsmithing school.

Single, motivated, former military (POG MOS' acceptable)

Honesty. We had to fire someone not long ago for selling something out from under the store (ie stealing). We are in a position of trust, with credit cards, very expensive guns/accessories and personal property. I shouldn't have to list this as something we're looking for but apparently it needs to be listed.

Not sensitive.

Someone who has a passion for guns and is willing to make the necessary personal sacrifices to make that passion/dream a reality.

Someone who has the ability to work as a part of a team in a non-toxic, non-backstabbing all-for-one environment.

Someone who likes good-natured competition.
