I have enjoyed bench rest target shooting and competition back in the 80’s. I had a Remington custom Rangemaster BBR in 222 with a Unertle 20x fixed scope. Yes and old rig by today’s standards, but a real tack driver at 100 yards with my perfected hand loads.
My question the the forum is, for a 100-200 yard gun for bench rest application, what is the optimal caliber choice where key objectives include, simple reloading process and highly accurate ballistics performance (BC).
