I'm looking to paint my AR. Like I said, paint. I'm not really looking to totally refinish the thing just give it some different aesthetics. Is this possible and what products/directions to use?

Re: Looking to paint...

Two words...search fieldcraft

Been beat like a rented mule. Plenty of how-to and examples in fieldcraft.

Re: Looking to paint...

I will cut you some slack, you have 3 posts....

Depending on if you have any painting equipment..... Do you have an oven, High Volume Low Pressure spray gun, air brush....stuff like that? If not then your other option is to do a Krylon paint job. I have not messed with it, but I'm sure you could do a search for it and tons of people play with that stuff. I use alot of Duracoat and Cerekote.

Worse case scenario if you played with Krylon would be you would have to remove it with chemicals or take it to a smith and have them sand blast and re paint your rifle.
