Looking to pick up a Leofoto 324CF... question on ballhead

I know quite a few people run Leofoto so I figure someone here would have an answer. Leofoto offers this setup with an LH-40 which has a max weight rating of 22lbs. My PRS rifle weighs 20.1lbs with no scope. Should I jump up to the LH-55 or will the LH-40 handle 22+ lbs?

i would get something bigger for a 20lb gun. I was looking at the LH 55. There’s some leofoto nb46’s that have a limit of 66lbs on eBay for about $100. Not a bad option

I have a 324CF if you want to shoot off it a lot (esp at full height), I would consider going up to the 364C.

I second the above. I bought the 324 because I’m short and thought it would be plenty. It works for glassing but shooting off of it isn’t as good as I’d hoped

I have the 364c with RRS Anvil ball head, great for shooting or glassing. Not sure 324 with that ball head with 20 pound rifle will be rigid enough.
