Hi all,

Looking for a recommendation on a new optic as I am planning to upgrade from my NF NX8 4-32.

My use case will be hunting only, no competition shooting. 500 yards and in.

The rifle is a Seekins Precision Havak Element chambered in 300 PRC.

My scope criteria includes:
- Price: what it costs.
- Magnification: 3-4x on the low end, 16-20x on the high end. I'll take more if I can get it.
- Weight: The lighter the better, let's say realistically something in the 20 - 35 oz range.
- Forgiving, workable in the field eye box.
- I am okay with some CA.
- Performant in low light conditions.
- Wide FOV would be nice, but totally necessary.
- Durable - needs to maintain a zero after getting dropped and smashed into things.

My list so far in no particular order is:

1) Nightforce ATACR, 4-16 & 4-20
2) Leupold Mk5HD 3.6-18
3) Kahles K318i
4) Razor G2 3-18 & 4.5-27 (thinking these are too heavy)
5) ZCO 420 (not sure I need to spend this for what I'm looking to accomplish).

Open to other options s I may be missing. Thank you in advance.

Kahles K318i for sure! NF is good. I hear good things about ZCO, but never looked through one. Razors are always a good option. Not a Leupy fan…

I put a March 3-24x52 on my Seekins Element. Couldn’t imagine putting a 30+ ounce scope on such a lightweight rifle.
