No, don't make that mistake. I think Vortex as a company, is very savvy, actually paying attention to the requests of the end-users. The company has also provided quality scopes from the sub - $200.00 scope all the way to the $2K Razor. I think Vortex as a product is as good, or better, than 95% of the scopes at each price point they occupy. They are new and the economy stinks, so they’ve got an uphill battle, but, I wish them the best. The reason I wish them the best is people whom I trust have been telling me for it seems a year, that Vortex scopes were solid scopes, well-worth what Vortex was charging. No, don’t make the mistake and assume I dislike Vortex.
