Looks like their mini action (.223, 6.5 grendel, etc...) is now in a chassis.

Don't know which magazines it is using but I hope it will be ar15 style mags.

I hope they fix the twist rate of the .223 and use something like 1:8.
Also I hope they start offering their actions with an enlarged bolt knob.

All and all I am super stoked. This looks like a great option for guys who want a 6.5 grendel in a chassis.

While that would be nice, their 1:9 barrel (at least the 24" that I have) will easily stabilize Hornady 75 HBPT at 2760 fps. Stability factor > 1 predicted by JBM and confirmed stable at 100 yds. I'll be confirming on paper at 300 and 600 in the near future.

Also I hope they start offering their actions with an enlarged bolt knob.

It does except better handguard.

A 16.5” barrel 6.5g or 223 would look great.

I'm going to have to backtrack on this one. I tried again today and it keyholed both my Hornady 75 handload and a Fiocci Exacta load with the Sierra 69 MK. Fucking keyholes at 50 yards with both.

This one might get rebarreled next year as funds allow.

The 75 I expected to key but I’m surprised the 69mk didn’t. Before throwing a new barrel on try the hot new 53 varmageddon or vmax. Pretty phenominal bc for its weight.

I wonder how many configurations there will be in this and the price point. Could be a great intro set up. It certainly looks nice

Thanks for the tip on both of those bullets. I think this barrel is going to need some serious break in because accuracy started out OK with run of the mill PMC 55 FMJ then opened to about 3 - 3.5 MOA within 30 rounds. Might even spring for some of those Tubb Final Finish bullets while I'm at it.

Not for chassis just for the mini action. Been looking at the 20" HB Grendel for almost a year can't get past the mag. If it had a Bdl floor plate I'd already have it. Hopefully CDI will come through.
