Rifle Scopes LPVO for 16"

Ive decided to get into more defensive shooting, with some friends and picked up a ruger mpr 16" as a compromise for lightweight, able to get on target quick, up close but still be able to reach out to 500 yards with 77's.

What are some suggestions for optics, to get me on target at up to 500 yards, but still be good for up close shots?

Look at some 2-10 offerings such as a PST Gen 2. They can be had for a lot cheaper and are the “sweet spot” when it comes to a 16” carbine imo.

And the Vortex 1-6 Razor Gen 2 is still a great scope, often discounted a little now.

Vortex gen 2, 1-6. I sold mine for 1100 with a mount. I'm sure you'll be able to find one. It was a great optic, and I was able to blaze some 2 gun matches. But I've gotten away from ARs.

I don’t shoot AR’s much, but that’s why I’m wanting a kind of do it all ar15. That way I don’t end up with a pistol, a 18” and a 20-24” lol
