I can’t compare, but I can tell you about my experience with the P4Xi. I had one mounted on a rifle for about a month before I was able to use it at the range. It had a pretty respectable eye box and the glass was nice as well. I experienced no fishbowl at 1X and the dot is very bright. Then when I took it to the range to sight in for the first time, the wheels came off. I believe one of the lenses came loose inside the body of the scope because I could hear something sliding around as I move the rifle and it is also blurry no matter how much I adjust it. It’s not like it was ever dropped or banged around either.
It has a lifetime warranty but I have been very unimpressed by Steiner’s customer service. It took forever and several attempts at communication to get any kind of response from them. I finally got the go-ahead to send it in a few weeks ago, but I’ve heard nothing about what’s going to happen now.
I assume I got a lemon which I know can happen, but I like when companies stand behind their products and do their best to make it right.
