I took my APO TACT-3S tripod to the field recently. The place we went shooting consisted of virtually no vegetation and fine powdery moon dust. The gimbal on the tripod came coated in a yellow grease that looks similar to Plastilube - the stuff I use on my M1A. Of course the grease attracted the dust and now the thing sounds like there's 100-grit sandpaper in there. What are you guys using in place of the grease to lube the gimbal? Ideally, some sort of dry lube.
