Looking for hardside luggage with a hinge and latches instead of zipper

I got nothin man, that's one thing I know fuck all about.
Still use my issued duffle bag, you know, the military grade luggage ?
Oh, it's not one of those fluffy Army shit ones with the padded shoulder straps....pure Marine lovin with a single long strap.

I stopped using Pelican/Storm cases altogether when flying unless it's a rifle.

Even when it's camera equipment... they do the extensive inspections EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's like they expect a gun.

Having to remove ALL the gear from the foam, take out the foam, etc. Stupid. they have X-Ray machines.

TSA has some kind of policy or something at my local airport, LAX, SNA...

Now I just use a soft sided bag carry on.

Some sort of solid duffle bag.

You can punch the shit out of a duffle bag to stuff it in a tight space but let's see you do that with hard luggage.

Every type of luggage has its pros and cons.
A co worker is using a Pelican Air case because he had a soft case get torn up. I had just bought a new "Kohls" soft side case because my old one was getting thread bare. His Pelican Air was cheaper.
