As in warms up here in Colorado I've found I really enjoy taking my CZ527 in 7.62x39 up with me camping. It's not my PRS gun by any stretch, but it's (relatively) cheap to shoot for the thumps it provides. I like shooting it with irons, but I'm curious what it can do with a small simple optic on it (~10oz).
I was eyeing either a SWFA SS 2.5-10 BDC or a Leupold VX3HD 2.5 - 8 with CDS/ZS. LE/MIL pricing makes them both about the same price. I like the idea of a BDC or a CDS in case I see a coyote out and about.
Any thoughts or recommendation on either or something else?
