I have no experience with the PDW so I can not comment on that gun. However I do own a PSD and all I can say is that its a lot of fun to shoot. Took it out this morning to a local range and put some rounds through it. Also if you get it put the surefire 6.8 flash hider on it.

No not at all. I have shot everything from Remington to Silver State Armory and even Hornady through it without even a hiccup. The gun loves everything I put through it. Where in FL do you live? If your close to Ft Lauderdale you can come check mine out sometime

Im in Leesburg just North of Orlando, I have heard that the gun loves silver state, but there were some problems with other random ammo

Yea bud if you are looking to buy a PSD and worried about the reliability dont. It really is a cool gun to shoot
