I'm looking at going with an AWC system for both my LWRCI REPR in .308 and then my Rem .300WM with the AWC PSR brake system to tame the 300 recoil and reduce the 308 sound (don't really need it for the 308, just figured it'd only cost me the extra mount.. so why not, right?). I'm just curious if anyone has mounted a brake onto their REPR and had any positive/negative results? I know you can adjust the gas systems, but I've still seen gas rifles have issues with shooting w/ cans. Just looking for any thoughts!
My reason for the AWC brake and silencer system is the cost. I've got a hookup on the price so I figured why not. I'm not looking for the "ultimate" quite rifle on the .300WM; I just need to tame the recoil so it's enjoyable to shoot for more than 3 rounds. I haven't changed the stock chassis either so that will help as my build process moves along.
