I recently got a burris fullfield II scope online. I got a refurbished one because it was about half price. I know burris offers a forever warranty, and I don't expect to have any issues, but if i do, how is burris customer service? Anyone deal with them? Thanks.

Re: lyburris warranty

In my experience, they have an outstanding warranty. Years ago my brother had one he bought used. In a terrible turn of events one day while putting it in the safe he knocked his 26lb rifle over and it landed on the 8-32 signature scope, busted the objective lens and bent the bell. We sent it in to Burris expecting to get a bill, I dont know if they fixed it or just sent him a new one, but it came back immaculate, with a new box, covers, wrench, cloth, ect. no charge whatsoever. I was VERY impressed, and several friends since have purchased Burris optics based solely on my brothers experience with Burris CS. In the years that have past, and the scopes we have seen in that time, I have formed a different opinion of Burris though.

While they have great CS, and make a good American (I believe) product. There just isn't a model I want from Burris, the features and price just dont do it for me. Which is a damn shame, as I would love to give them my business

Re: lyburris warranty

I walked a Fullfield II into the headquarters in Greeley, CO.
I confessed to dropping the scope on concrete which popped an
internal lens loose. 3 weeks later it showed up in the mail,
better than new. Didn't even charge for shipping.

I do like their long eye relief stuff, pistol and scout scopes,
but I continue to drool like a bulldog over the SWFA SS line.

Re: lyburris warranty

Glad Burris did you good.

Here's my story with Burris. When dragging a Deer with the Rifle slung on his back, my Brother slipped and fell backwards. He fell onto the scope and snapped the main tube near the eyepiece on a Full Field II. I called Burris. They said the main tube could not be repaired and offered a coupon for another scope at a discount. The discount was only $20.00 less than I could buy it on line. I was out of luck. If I remember, with the discount it equalled about $180.00 for a new scope.

Leupold can and will replace a main tube for $90.00. I would have gladly paid it.

If I broke a Vortex scope by accident, Vortex will replace the scope.

I haven't bought a Burris product since.
