I don't know if anyone else is having this issue with the treated corncob media from Lyman, but it leaves a green residue on the cases which gets all over your hands and makes a big mess, especially in your car after a session. I've had to wipe down each case before priming and it just slows the whole process down. It's also a PITA to get off.
Is this a bad batch of media or is that normal?
Also, as a sidenote, I'm very disappointed with this batch of Winchester brass. 300 pcs, same lot, had to pitch 4 because of improperly punched flash holes, another had a cracked mouth and 5 more had dings severe enough to be unserviceable. I'll be phoning Winchester in the morning about this. Only upside is they were very consistent in weight and OAL.
