M1 Garand scope over bore CASM Mount

so I always wanted a M1 Garand with scope over bore.
Finally CASM mount and M1 Garand Thumb Saver stops the clip from coming out, just reload from the top the 8 rounds.

all non permanent mods

Rifle is a HR, VAR barrel Danish return form CMP

SS 3x9 Mil scope

Schuster gas plug

When I had this rifle as a scout rifle it shot 1 MOA, interested to see what it does now

Seems like a good addition to a m1 with a bar mag conversion.

Sometimes I like hunting with this old rifle, 8 rounds is more then enough , I do not mind loading from the top
