Attend a CMP GSM Garand Clinic.

There are some listed in theh Hunlock's Creek, PA area.

These are taught by CMP Master Instructors and don't cost much (I charge %5 for the ones I put on). They will get you started on the right path.

Then start shooting Garand Matches.

I already shoot cmp and highpower with the ar 15

That helps but the CMP Garand Clinic will give you the insite to the Garand. Fundamentals are Fundamentals, but the Garand is a bit different then the AR.
