Hello, Im trading a friend a Mark 4 scope w/rings for his DPMS SASS.

I dont know what size rings to get. Ive never messed with the Barrett enough to know what height is right. The scope is a Mark 4 ER/T 6.5-20x50mm with 30mm tube. The Rings will be on a Picatiny rail.

If anyone know which height is what will be needed please let me know. Thank you

Re: M107 Scope ring question

Bump. Will Mk4 High rings be enough clearance? I realize it would be a huge help if i could measure it but the rifle is not mine, and do not have any other M107 anywehre near me to measure the base

Re: M107 Scope ring question

For mounting on a M107/M82 on the standard 1913 rail they come with, you're going to need taller rings or a riser. The MK4 High rings are only 1.06" tall. The USMC spec rings, while they're the 34mm rings, are 1.49" tall. I'm using the Badger Max-50 Ultra High (306-50) 30mm rings on an M82 and M99 and they work out well.

Here's a couple links to help you out with the different ring heights:
