Make an offer…need to move this!! For those that have questions this is NOT a CLONE this is the REAL deal and was built for and used by a Navy Seal and DARPA contractor in the early 1990’s (this rifle has been out of the country and “used in anger” I can provide more details if requested.
Here’s the details:
- Full blueprinted/trued Remington 700 Long Action by a smith named Monte Kyser.
- bolt handle has been reinforced
- M16 extractor
- Obermeyer 5R 1:10 twist .308 barrel 26” This is the rifles second barrel and only has 96 documented rounds on it.
.900 at the muzzle straight taper muzzle threaded recently 5/8-24
- Chamber is 300 Win Mag A191 specification (verified by casting the chamber)
- scope rail is 20MOA steel made by D.D. Ross and uses #10 screws, and features a machined recoil lug
- bottom metal is T2 steel made by D.D. Ross mag box is 3.700”
- stock is a fully beaded McMillan A3
- Leupold MK4 30mm scope (custom fixed 16 power) thin wire mil dot (football) reticle
- Rings are Max 50 steel rings
- Trigger is Timney and set at a very crisp 2lbs
- All metal parts coated in Roguard (think cerakote but from the 1990’s)
Rifle comes with:
- Turner 1 1/4” sling
- Pelican 1750 case
- approx. 15 fired cases
- load data
- 8 loaded rounds 190gr moly coated Berger
- 55 moly coated Berger bullets
- Mil dot holdover data (old school stuff)
