Re: M24 Trigger
Don't build an M24, save up the extra money and get the better deal long run with an M40A1 build! The M40a1 in issue form was a rare gun lovingly designed by some of the Marine's greatest snipers, and it was lovingly custom built by the best Marine RTEs! The M24 is just so bland! The stock is lame and the LOP adjust is crap! The action doesn't actually fit the stock but is forced to fit by cranking it down tight. Sure the aluminum block is high precision, unfortunately Remington actions vary greatly from the factory so if using a Remington M700, plan on custom bedding regardless of using HS Precision or McMillan! It may be that Remington had to tighten up tolerances on M24 actions so that they fit the HS stocks more consistently for the Army. However the average civi wanting to put an HS on their Remington may have a lot of play between action and stock because Remington actions as great as they are vary greatly in the cylidrical tolorances. If you have to bed an HS, well you might as well get a McMillan or Manners!
