Join contestThats what I was afraid of .... They just had 308 and 300 WM, correct?Probably not, those were released like six years ago and I think there were only 2,000 of them to begin with. The only way to get one now is probably the secondary market.
http://www.snipercountrypx.com/product/remington-m24-rifle-only-300wm/Just .308, I never saw one offered in .300 WM.
Nevermind, just realized its not a M24R but a regular M24.
A lot of us appreciate and own rifles like this, it's not always about having the latest and greatest... if you don't understand I can't explain it to you.Just out of curiosity why would you want one ?
You can build a better rifle with a true custom action for considerably less money.

I fully understand the appreciation and ownership of rifles like the M24 considering the first time I got to shoot and qualify with an AR I knew I had to have one after that. But none of them i own now are even close to the original milspec rifle because there are far better choices that goes for the M24 as well.
If its a nostalgia thing that's cool but I personally would choose a custom action and go from there but that's just my preference, wasn't bashing or trying to piss in anyone's cheerios was just genuinely curious.
I was trying to find one in 300 min mag to match my 308 version.
100% agreed, basically wanted a cheap "M24" and I thought it was interesting to have prior service stock (if it could only tell the stories). A brand new M24 was 3k and M24R was 2K. I bought mine to shoot and not to collect.
Here is the 1000 yard group with my M24R with hand loads.View attachment 6945782
