Krom I think? DFA books mentions it. I however am not sure that was the only brand used.

Should be able to find them at most farm supply stores or bigger hardware stores. Fastenal stores will either have them or order them. Need at least 1" for the front and 1.75 to 2" for the rear. Cut to fit your setup.

That link is for factory screws like original screws used on the M40 or millions of other Remington 700's. OP wants the hex head type used on the M40A1.
