i have a Mcmillan stock inletted for 2 piece modded metal, will one pice williams metal work? m40a1 build thread not answer this question.

Is it the old Williams or new Williams made to replace the Remington factory bottom metal? Either way it won't fit a stock milled for the 2pc modded Winchester as used on the M40A1's. Stock more than likely can be made to fit the 1pc but if it was cut for the 2pc then No.
