M40A1 Stock Question

I know the McMillian Stock and a Standard 700 Police Stocks are close. My question, does anyone know if the 40A1 bottom metal will fit in a 700 Police stock? Or should I stop being a cheap bastard and just buy the McMillian?

Can’t answer your question on the bottom metal but if your building an A1 you need a McMillan.
